Advocacy and training make hard easier to handled
Westsound Wellness Foundation is a Non-Profit organization and does not engage in politics or political campaigning.
As a non-profit we recognize our community need to understand public policy and normal operating procedures for services and providers.
Advocacy and public policy play a crucial role in shaping the direction and decisions of a nation. Advocacy refers to the process of influencing public opinion and promoting specific causes or issues. It involves raising awareness, building support, and mobilizing resources to bring about change or to assist an individual.
Public policy, on the other hand, refers to the decisions made by governments and other governing bodies to address societal problems or enhance the overall welfare of citizens. It encompasses the laws, regulations, and actions taken by policymakers. Advocacy and public policy are closely intertwined, as effective advocacy can help shape public policy, and well-crafted public policy can support and reinforce advocacy efforts. Together, they facilitate social change, promote justice, and improve the lives of individuals and communities.
Westsound Wellness Foundation offers training for how to influence public policy and how to conduct a movement for change, however we do not advocate for any public policy position as a part of our services, yet we believe in an individuals right to address their government and educate clients on how to accomplish that task.
We actively ENGAGE service providers and government authorities to ADVOCATE for clients where clients service and wellbeing is involved.
